The next meeting of the Old Essex Chapter of SAR will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Village Restaurant in Essex (same place as last meeting). Please put it on your calendar and try to be there. our speaker will be a representative from the Massachusetts Historical Society with a presentation on the activities during the 400th Anniversary of the Pilgrim Landing scheduled in 2020. also we have scheduled our annual meeting of the Chapter for Saturday December 7th at the Village Restaurant in Essex at 12:30 PM Our scheduled speaker will be none other than our friend and favorite local historian Jim McAllister with a special Holiday cheer talk related to the Revolution in Essex County and New England.

The Village Restaurant is located in central Essex on the Main Street (MA Route 133) and has on site parking – we will order individually from the menu. We would like to know if you plan to be there to be sure we have space for our members and guests – contact the Old Essex Chapter to let us know who is coming. We invite all members and their guests to come and enjoy our speakers and fellowship.
