Welcome to the website of the Massachusetts Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. The society is an educational, non-profit that seeks to maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom, and a respect for our national symbols and American citizenship. We do this by perpetuating the stories of courage, sacrifice, and triumph of those who achieved our independence to inspire succeeding generations.

Dear Compatriots,

Our March 27, 2021 meeting in New Hampshire will be held via Zoom rather than in person in Manchester. The New Hampshire State Society looks forward to hosting all of you in person when the pandemic abates.

Our business meeting will begin at 10:00. Please write the Secretary of the NED to request a link to the session.

We are happy to have as our guest speaker Roger S. Williams, lecturer, educator and public historian, President of the Princeton NJ Chapter of the society, and member of the national Education and History committees. Roger’s presentation will be “THE STARS AND STRIPES, LONG MAY IT WAVE: Development of the Flag of the United Colonies in Revolutionary British America Including an Introduction to the Continental Regimental Standards and Colors of Colonial Militias.”

The dates of our next meetings are Saturday, October 30, 2021 and Saturday, March 26, 2022 at ten o’clock in the forenoon. We hope these will be person, with the usual luncheon and camaraderie.

Robert M. Walsh, Esq.
Vice President General
New England District
