The hotel for Congress 2016 is directly adjacent to two large shopping mall - the Prudential Center and the high-end Copley Place. Both of these are connected to the hotel by glass a skywalk to make access to the malls easy in any type of weather. Within a short walking distance is the world-famous Newbury Street.

The Prudential Center is a 23-acre complex situated in the Back Bay District between Boylston Street and Huntington Avenue. The complex contains office buildings, hotels, green space, a
shopping mall, and the Prudential office tower. At the base of the tower is a beautiful shopping mall with more than 70 retails stores. The mall walkways are covered
with atrium-style glass ceilings that are known as arcades.
There are many points of interest in or near the Prudential Center, including the Prudential
Skywalk, an observatory on the 51th floor, and
Top of the Hub restaurant on the
52nd floor of the central tower. Copley Place is next to Copley Square, where
Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library are located.
During the New Year's eve First Night celebration, the Hynes Convention Center and Copley Square are major
venues for exhibits and performances. Just to the west of The Pru is Kenmore Square and historic Fenway Park, to the east is the Public Garden,
Cheers Beacon Hill and Boston Common. One block north is the
Newbury Street shopping area.
Copley Place Mall

Copley Place is a large modern mixed-use complex, with features such as an upscale shopping mall, parking garage, office space, and two hotels. The shopping mall includes many luxury retailers such as Ralph Lauren and Tiffany & Co. Copley Place is located at the southwest corner of Copley Square, which can be considered the heart of Boston’s Back Bay District.
There are several points of interest near Copley Place. The Boston Public Library, Copley Square, and
Trinity Church are across Huntington Avenue. The Prudential Center,
Skywalk attraction, and Hynes Convention Center are connected to the complex via the elevated walkways. Also, the Newbury Street shopping area is located only two blocks
north on Dartmouth
Street. Just to the west is historic Fenway Park near Kenmore Square, and to the east is the Public Garden,
Cheers Beacon Hill, and Boston Common.

Newbury Street in historic Back Bay is lined with world-famous designer apparel and accessories in the trendiest area of the city. The cluster of stores on Newbury Street begin at the Public Garden and end at Massachusetts Avenue to the west. The stores include men's and women's fashions, children's clothes, shoes, accessories, and maternity clothes with inventories of crafts, beauty products, media, watches, jewelry, beauty spas, tanning salons, hair stylists, and nail salons. Many restaurants and bars line the street with cafe-style sidewalk tables during summer. Commuters often skip the subway to walk Newbury Street for exercise and to enjoy the style.
The intersection of Newbury and Dartmouth Streets is just one block south of Copley Square where our hotel is located. Many First Night events occur on Newbury and in the square each New Year's
Eve. A few blocks west on Boylston Street are the Prudential Center and Copley Plaza as above. Just to the east are Boston Public Garden, and Cheers Beacon Hill, made famous by the
long-running TV show. Newbury Street also parallels the Esplanade Park along the Charles River, where free concerts take place during summer at the Hatch Shell.
